The old-style property is mind-blowing; the host allowed early check-in and provided towels, toiletries, and big towels. The dorm room was quiet, yet close to all the hustle and bustle. The location in the heart of the city was fantastic, and the accommodation was surprisingly spacious and comfortable, with a large personal locker and a fully equipped kitchen. Plus, there was free wi-fi!

This hostel was absolutely mind-blowing! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by its sheer beauty. The common area was super spacious, providing ample room to chill and hang out. The location, although a bit away from the action if you want peace and quiet, was perfect. It was close enough to the center of town, but far enough from the hustle and bustle of the streets. The two wonderful hostesses were incredibly knowledgeable about the area's history and gave fantastic recommendations of things to see. The hostel itself was immaculately maintained, clean, and peaceful. The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of space for everyone. Plus, the lockers were a great addition for extra security. Additionally, the prime location and rich history of the accommodation were jaw-dropping. And to top it all off, the host was incredibly accommodating and communicative throughout the entire process. I can't recommend this place enough for an unforgettable stay.

The location was unbeatable, just steps away from all the action. The building had a charming blend of old-meets-new, which added to its character. Plus, the kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, making it easy to whip up a meal. And having AC during the sweltering summer was like a cool oasis amidst the heat.
The comfort factor was seriously lacking. The mattress was practically a trampoline, with springs poking every which way.

The hotel breakfast menu could use some improvement.

I had a wonderful stay at a centrally-located hostel in a beautiful old Maltese townhouse. The hostel was recently renovated and everything looked clean and spacious. The kitchen facilities were great, and there were lovely seating areas to relax in. The beds were comfy and there were lockers provided for security. The staff was friendly and accommodating, allowing me to do a late check-in. The location was perfect for exploring the city, with bus stops, museums, and nice bars within walking distance. The wifi connection was also excellent.
The only downside was the lack of sound isolation, which made it difficult to be quiet when coming back late or leaving early. Additionally, there was only one bathroom with a shower and toilet, which sometimes led to a queue.

The double room was amazing with a balcony offering breathtaking sea views. It had a cozy seating area where I could relax and enjoy the scenery. The shared bathroom was clean and had a refreshing shower. The room also had a fireplace, making it feel extra cozy.
Personally, I found the shared bathroom aspect a bit inconvenient, but some may not mind it at all.
